I am a neuroscience major at Agnes Scott College. I consider myself to be curious, creative, and opportunistic regarding everything in my life, especially my education. A long-term goal of mine is to be a research neuroscientist with my own lab specializing in neurodegenerative diseases. To do so, I plan to continue my education beyond my bachelor’s degree from undergrad and earn my master’s degree from a reputable program. Then I will proceed to obtain my Ph.D. as well. As an aspiring scientist, I find every life to be valuable. People deserve to be treated with basic human respect, no matter the circumstances. I try to apply this philosophy to every action I take and to the way I spread it to others.
