Hello all,

My name is Shaky’ra Blades, and I am boldly pursuing a neuroscience major at Agnes Scott College. I identify as curious, creative, and opportunistic in all aspects of my life, especially in my education. My long-term goal is to become a research neuroscientist with my own lab specializing in neurodegenerative diseases. I am committed to advancing my education beyond my bachelor’s degree by earning a master’s degree from a reputable program, and I will successfully obtain my Ph.D. as well. As an aspiring scientist, I firmly believe that every life holds immense value, and everyone deserves basic human respect, regardless of their circumstances. I actively apply this philosophy in my actions and in how I engage with others.
